Malmo: An Ancient City with systemic Public Transport
Malmo is the third largest city of Sweden and also the capital City of Skane County, located on the southern tip of the country. Malmo was founded in 1272 which was 20KM away from Lund, a fortified seaport. It has been the 2nd largest city in the reign of Danish rulers. Malmo was the hub of trade and commanded the largest markets until Copenhagen came on the board in the 16th century. After many wars and industrial revolution, the city developed rapidly and become the earliest industrial city of Scandinavia. After the inauguration of Oresund Bridge, the dormant soul of this bustling city has revoked again and Malmo seaport has seen a new era of development.
